SkillsUSA is a PRHS chapter which seeks to engage students in workforce skills through class instruction, seasonal skilled competitions, and accountability in work ethic. For over 15 years the Paso Robles High School SkillsUSA chapter has lead the region by promoting employable student skills-development. See or the PRHS SkillsUSA site for more information.

All contestants will need to submit this Form 1, a resume , know the Professional Development Program material available herecheck your work, and wear contest-appropriate attire to compete starting in November. Local PRHS contests in November decide which teams will advance to regionals. The regional contest at PRHS in February will cost $15 and the state contest in southern California in April typically costs students around $250 after generous donations and support from Paso Robles businesses. To earn your SkillsUSA graduation cord, complete the following:

  1. Student will have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and 90% Attendance.
  2. SkillsUSA Chapter 211 member for two years, including their Senior Year. and
  3. Attend Region 2 Conference and advance to the California State Conference one of the two years (or more).  or
  4. SkillsUSA member and advance to the Calif. State Conference and win Gold, Silver or Bronze medal(s) one year.
  5. Cord is Red & White from SkillsUSA Store
