Wave Writers is skilled group of young writers, who travel along the California central coast, taking photographs and writing about their experiences in astonishing places. The group hopes to interest their readers to travel to amazing new places, not only around California, but around the world.


Boulder Creek, ca (September 2nd-10th, 2017)

Big Basin Redwoods State Park is a beautiful park located in Santa Cruz County. It is full of endless hiking trails, waterfalls and of course, ancient redwood trees. While in Big Basin, the Wave Writers  stayed in Wastahi Campgrounds, one of the many campgrounds in the park, surrounded in trees.


Santa Barbara, ca (August 4th-10th, 2017)

Writers spent a week in Santa Barbara, California on beautiful beaches. Surrounded by sun and sand, East Beach was their favorite spot in all of the city. Beautiful beaches and impressive sunsets were the highlight of the trip. Wave Writers love it down there and would love to return very soon.



Paso Robles, ca (August 11th- December 14th, 2017)

Nacimiento Lake, in Paso Robles, California, is full of tons of amazing adventures. Located on the central coast, Paso Robles offers the best weather, perfect for hikes, lake days, or just a day spent outside. Writers and a group of photographers went out to the lake and out on the trails and captured some interesting photos.
