The Paso Robles High school cheer team is a good reason to be involved at this school. Their perkiness and enjoyment of cheering is definite. The cheer team has been working hard and they just got a new group of recruits, eager and ready for the challenge. They are coached by the one and only Mrs. Loney and she helps them with their skills development and their overall wellness in cheer. Mrs. Loney was a cheerleader here herself once and now she has returned to coach the future cheerleaders of this generation.
“I cheer because I love the sport and I like to support different sporting events and teams.” – Anessa Palomino, 14, Freshman. Now, the cheer uniforms cost four hundred dollars for the athlete’s to buy and they cost nothing for the athlete’s to rent. “We make $10,000 each year and we use just about all of it for cheer apparel.”, said coach Tori Loney.
